Barcelona finally lose as Alavés, Alhama relegated: Liga F Week 30 Round Up
Barcelona suffered their first defeat after 64 matches when they lost 2-1 to hosts Madrid CFF at the Estadio Fernando Torres on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts raced to a two goal lead through a brace by Zambian forward Racheal Kundananji in the 30th and 37th minutes after being set up by midfielder Laura Dominguez and Florencia Bonsegundo respectively to take her season goal tally to 25.
The visitors suffered an early setback when their top goal scorer forward Asisat Oshoala was injured and replaced by forward Salma Paralluelo in the 21st minute.
The visitors made a triple change in the 62nd minute bringing on midfielders Alexia Putellas, Ingrid Syrstad Engen and defender Jana Fernández for forward Geyse, midfielder Keira Walsh and defender Marta Torrejón respectively.
Putellas made an instant impact pulling a goal back for her team two minutes after coming on.
The defeat meant that the visitors lost to their hosts for the first time in 14 matches and they remained on 85 points whilst the hosts moved to 56 points.

Meanwhile, second-placed Real Madrid were held to a one-all draw by hosts Real Sociedad at the Instalaciones de Zubieta on Friday night.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 54th minute through forward Nahikari García after being set up by midfielder Claudia Zornoza.
The hosts equalised with six minutes left through forward Amaiur Sarriegi.
The draw took the hosts to 39 points whilst the visitors moved to 75 points, 10 behind the champions.

Fourth-placed Atlético Madrid turned on the heat in the second half to demolish visiting UDG Tenerife 4-0 at the Centro Deportivo Alcalá de Henares on Friday night.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute through forward Bárbara Latorre before midfielder Marta Cardona doubled her side’s lead seven minutes later.
Substitute forward Eva Navarro needed just five minutes on the pitch to make it 3-0 to the hosts in the 65th minute after converting a pass from fellow forward Latorre. The visitors got their fourth goal with four minutes remaining to play courtesy of an own goal by defender Thaís to put the match to bed.
The defeat meant that Tenerife remained on 40 points to finish the season in sixth position whilst Atlético finished on 57 points, one point above cross-town rivals Madrid CFF who finished on 56 points.

Third-placed Levante were ruthless in their 4-0 defeat of visiting Real Betis at the Ciudad Deportiva de Buñol - Campo 1 on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the eighth minute through the league’s top goal scorer forward Alba Redondo to take her goal tally to 28 for the season.
Redondo had an opportunity to double her side’s lead two minutes after the resumption after they were awarded a penalty but she missed the spot kick.
Forward Nataša Andonova doubled the lead for the hosts in the 70th minute before defender María Méndez made it 3-0 five minutes later. Midfielder Paula Fernández made it 4-0 in the 79th minute to seal a comfortable victory for her side.
The win took Levante to 66 points whilst Betis remained on 25 points.

Sporting Huelva secured their league status after beating visiting Levante Las Planas 2-0 at the Campo del CG Lamiya on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts had their breakthrough in the 19th minute when defender Esther Martín-Pozuelo conceded a penalty which was converted by defender Patri Ojeda to give the hosts the lead.
Defender María Ruiz Gámez doubled her side’s lead in the 22nd minute to send wild celebrations in the whole stadium.
The hosts had come into this match under immense pressure to collect maximum points so as to survive relegation whilst their opponents had already secured their league status.

Sevilla scored in either half to beat visiting Valencia 2-0 at the Ramón Cisneros Palacios on Friday night.
The hosts found a breakthrough in the 32nd minute when forward Inma Gabarro gave them the lead after being set up by midfielder Amanda Sampedro.
Defender Eva Llamas doubled her side’s lead in the 51st minute with Sampedro providing yet another assist.
The win put the hosts on 40 points and in seventh place whilst Valencia remained ninth on 37 points.
Bottom sides Alavés and Alhama CF ElPozo drew 1-1 at the Ciudad Deportiva José Luis Compañón on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 35th minute through forward Raquel Pinel and were one foot in the safety zone.
The hosts left it late and equalised with six minutes left to play through defender Camila Sáez levelled to ensure that they share the spoils and go down together.
The draw meant that the two teams ended the season tied on 21 points and were both relegated.
