Champions Barcelona came out 2-0 victors over hosts UDCA Tenerife at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López on Sunday afternoon. 

The visitors took the lead four minutes into the second half through forward Caroline Graham Hansen from the penalty spot. The goal saw Hansen take her season’s tally to nine.

The hosts made an attacking change by introducing forward Gift Monday for midfielder Raquel Peña in the 59th minute but the visitors would double their lead after 62 minutes through midfielder Keira Walsh off a pass from Aitana Bonmatí. 

The win maintained the visitors’ 100% record, moving them to 36 points whilst the hosts remained on 16 points after the defeat.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid bounced back from last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Sevilla to win 2-0 over hosts Levante Las Planas at the Camp Municipal Les Planes on Sunday afternoon. 

The visitors opened the scoring after 69 minutes through the experienced midfielder Claudia Zornoza off a pass from forward Athenea del Castillo. 

The hosts conceded a penalty with 10 minutes left to play after defender Bénédicte Simon impeded del Castillo and up stepped defender Olga Carmona to double her side’s lead. 

The win was a relief to the visitors who reclaimed their second position after moving to 27 points whilst the hosts remained on 16 points.

Real Sociedad came from behind to force a one-all draw against hosts Atlético Madrid at the Centro Deportivo Alcalá de Henares on Saturday afternoon. 

The hosts broke the deadlock after 13 minutes through midfielder and skipper Leicy Santos. 

The hosts were unfortunate not to double the lead when forward Sheila Guijarro was denied by the crossbar in the 76th minute. 

The visitors equalised 11 minutes from time when forward Synne Jensen bundled home a pass from Andreia Jacinto for her seventh goal of the season. 

The draw moved the hosts to 26 points as they were dislodged from second position whilst the visitors moved to 17 points.

Madrid CFF continued with their fine run with a 2-0 victory over visiting Villarreal at the Estadio Fernando Torres on Saturday afternoon. 

The hosts broke through after 21 minutes through forward Racheal Kundananji after an initial shot had deflected off Villarreal defender Yenifer Gimenez in the penalty box. The goal was her eighth of the season. 

The visitors doubled their advantage four minutes later through midfielder Cristina Librán Quiroga off a pass from forward Luany. 

The hosts took their points to 27 whilst the visitors’ three match unbeaten run came to a halt and remained on nine points.

A masterclass second half performance from Levante recorded a 2-0 win over visiting Sporting Huelva at the Ciudad Deportiva de Buñol - Campo 1 on Saturday afternoon. 

The breakthrough for the hosts came in the 73rd minute through forward Alba Redondo off a pass from substitute Gabi Nunes before another substitute defender Estela Carbonell Núñez doubled her side’s lead five minutes later. 

The win took the hosts to 27 points whilst the visitors remained anchored at the bottom of the standings on a single point.

SD Eibar eased their relegation worries with a 3-2 win over visiting Real Betis at the Municipal de Ipurua on Saturday evening. 

The hosts broke the deadlock after 13 minutes through defender Eider Arana who headed home midfielder Esperanza Pizarro’s corner before forward Carla Armengol levelled the scores two minutes later off a long pass from defender María Jiménez. 

The hosts restored their lead eight minutes into the second half through forward Andrea Álvarez off a pass from Arana before Pizarro doubled their advantage after 57 minutes off a pass from forward Ane Campos.

The visitors were reduced to 10 players when defender María Jiménez received her second yellow card with five minutes left to play. 

The visitors pulled a goal back four minutes into second half added time through forward Júlia Aguado off a pass from substitute forward Violeta García Quiles. 

The win moved the hosts to 10 points whilst the visitors remained on 13 points after suffering their third defeat in a row.

Visiting Valencia left it late to beat Granada CF 1-0 win at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes on Sunday evening. 

The visitors found a breakthrough in the fifth minute of second half added-time through substitute Anita Marcos who combined well with fellow substitute Jimena López to beat the impressive goalkeeper Sandra Estévez Ogalla.

The win moved the visitors to 14 points whilst the hosts remained on three points and also in the relegation zone.

Sevilla extended their unbeaten run with a one-all draw against visiting Athletic Club at the Ramón Cisneros Palacios on Sunday evening. 

The visitors drew first blood after 34 minutes through defender Naia Landaluze before midfielder Toni Payne levelled the scores for the hosts a minute into added time of the first half off a pass from midfielder and skipper Amanda Sampedro. 

The draw moved the hosts to 19 points whilst the visitors moved to 16 points.
