Five star Barcelona thrash Eibar as Real, Levante suffer shock defeats: Liga F Week 11 Round Up
Defending champions Barcelona produced a five star second half performance to beat visiting SD Eibar 5-0 at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Saturday evening.
The hosts broke the deadlock after 57 minutes through player of the moment Caroline Graham Hansen who slotted home from outside the box off a pass from midfielder Patri Guijarro.
Graham Hansen turned provider a minute later when she set up fellow forward Esmee Brugts who converted the heeled pass stylishly to double their side’s lead. Brugts completed her first Barcelona hat trick with goals in the 61st and 66th minutes off passes from forward Mariona Caldentey and defender Lucía Corrales Álvarez respectively to open a four-goal advantage for her side.
Substitute forward Ariana Arias put the icing on the cake, rounding off the scoring in the 88th minute off a pass from fellow substitute defender Lucy Bronze.
The win saw the hosts maintain their 100% record and move to 33 points whilst the visitors remained on seven points, just one place above the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid had a second half to forget after succumbing to a 3-1 defeat against visiting Sevilla at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on Saturday night.
The visitors opened the scoring six minutes into the second half when defender Oihane Hernández turned the ball into her own net, beating goalkeeper Misa Rodríguez.
The visitors lost defender Lucía Rodríguez through injury in the 61st minute and she was replaced by midfielder Pamela González.
The hosts equalised in the 85th minute through forward Caroline Møller who thought she had salvaged a point for her team.
Defender Arola Aparicio restored her side’s lead with a chipped goal in the fourth minute of added time after she was set up by forward Inma Gabarro before Aparicio turned provider, setting up midfielder Gemma Gilito to make it 3-1 after 10 minutes of added time.
The win moved the visitors to 18 points whilst the hosts remained on 24 points but dropped in position and now trail log leaders Barcelona by nine points.

Atlético Madrid moved to second place with a 2-0 win over hosts Real Betis at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis de Sol on Sunday evening.
The visitors took a sixth minute lead through midfielder Estefanía Romina Banini Ruiz who converted a pass from forward Sheila Guijarro.

Levante suffered their first defeat of the season when they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against hosts Athletic Club at the Instalaciones de Lezama Campo 2 on Sunday afternoon.
