PREVIEW: Inter vs Roma

Inter shall be attempting to bounce back from a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Sampdoria on Sunday when they host AS Roma at the Stadio Felice Chinetti in Milan on Saturday.

Rita Guarino’s troops’ last victory was 4-1 away at Empoli a fortnight ago, while Roma’s last was a 2-1 win away against Pomigliano. The two teams will be hungry for victory as they playout their Serie A matchday four encounter which was postponed on the 26th of September.

Sixth placed Inter, nine points behind leaders Juventus, will turn to the services of in form striker, Gloria Marinelli, as they seek to make the most out of the momentum of three wins and two defeats in five matches. Marinelli has scored three goals in six matches and is at par with last season’s golden boot winner, Juventus forward Cristiana Girelli.

Alessandro Spugna’s side, on fourth place with 10 points — one point above the hosts, will seek to build on the confidence of three wins, one draw and one loss.
