Rampant Barcelona dismantle Sevilla as Atlético, Madrid CFF drop points: Liga F Week 7 Round Up
Sensational young forward Salma Paralluelo inspired Barcelona to an 8-0 demolition of visiting Sevilla at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Saturday evening as they maintained their 100% start to the season.
The rout started seven minutes into the first half when Salma Paralluello converted a pass from fellow forward Caroline Graham Hansen. Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmatí drew a fine save from Sevilla goalkeeper Yolanda Aguirre Gutiérrez before Paralluelo headed home a cross from defender Lucy Bronze to double her side’s advantage on 17 minutes.
Paralluelo and Hansen combined again for the third goal on 37 minutes with the former completing a hat-trick before the two came to haunt Sevilla again two minutes later to make it 4-0 as Paralluelo registered her fourth goal of the match.
The hosts did not give the visitors any time to breath except during the half time break as they made it 5-0 just three minutes into the second half through forward Mariona Caldentey who punished the Sevilla rearguard for making a mess of a Barcelona corner.
The forward came back to haunt the visitors’ rearguard in the 54th minute making it 6-0 to complete her brace. Hansen registered her name on the scoresheet in the 57th minute to make it 7-0 when she converted a pass from forward and skipper Alexia Putellas.
Substitute forward Asisat Oshoala could not believe seeing her chipped shot come off the crossbar and gathered by Aguirre Gutiérrez. Substitutes defender Marta Torrejón and midfielder Esmee Brugts combined for the eighth goal in the first minute of second half added-time with the former heading home a cross from the right.
The win put the hosts on 21 points whilst Sevilla remained on six points.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid breathed a sigh of relief with a narrow 1-0 win over hosts SD Eibar at the Municipal de Ipurua on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors got a breakthrough on 73 minutes when defender Juliana Aparecida Paulino Cardozo beat her own keeper off a cross from defender Olga Carmona.
The visitors had missed a host of chances in the first half with the hosts’ goalkeeper also denying young forward Linda Caicedo once with a superb save. Caicedo saw another effort come off the upright before missing yet another glorious opportunity minutes before the end of the first half.
The win put the visitors on 18 points whilst the hosts remained on four points, one place above the relegation zone.

UDCA Tenerife inflicted a 2-1 defeat on visiting Atlético Madrid at the Estadio Municipal de Adeje on Sunday afternoon.
Tenerife broke the deadlock nine minutes into the second half through midfielder Gift Monday off a pass from midfielder Natalia Ramos. Monday came back to haunt the visitors’ rearguard two minutes later to double her side’s lead after racing through to a pass from midfielder Yerliane Moreno.
The visitors made a triple change after 57 minutes bringing on forwards Rasheedat Ajibade, Lucía Moral Ruíz and midfielder Vilde Bøe Risa for midfielder Estefanía Romina Banini Ruiz, forward Marta Cardona and midfielder Sonia García Majarín respectively to mount a comeback.
The move paid dividends as forwards Moral Ruíz and Ajibade combined in the 61st minute for Moral to drill home a cut back from her fellow forward to reduce the deficit.
The hosts moved to 12 points with the win whilst the visitors remained on 13 points and dropped to fifth on the standings.

Levante maintained their unbeaten run after registering a narrow 1-0 victory over hosts Madrid CFF at the Estadio Fernando Torres on Sunday evening.
Levante scored on 72 minutes through substitute forward Mayra Ramírez who headed home a Ángela Sosa corner.
The solitary strike was enough to earn the visitors maximum points and move to 15 points, level with Madrid CFF, though with an inferior goal difference of eight to Madrid CFF’s 10.

Sporting Huelva’s woes continued as they went down 2-0 to hosts Valencia at the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts broke the deadlock on five minutes through defender María Molina Molero.
They secured their points when defender Claudia Florentino’s header off a corner kick from fellow defender Sara Tamarit Verdeguer doubled their lead after 79 minutes.
The visitors had a moment to worry after defender Ana Carol limped off the pitch with the assistance of the medical team at the closing stages of the match.

The hosts broke the deadlock after 63 minutes through defender Gema Soliveres ensuring the hosts collected maximum points that moved them to seven points whilst Athletic Club remained on nine points.

The purple patch continued for Levante Las Planas who secured a narrow 1-0 win against hosts Granada CF at the Ciudad Deportiva del Granada CF on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors found the back of the net in the second minute of second half added-time through substitute forward Jiali Tang off a pass from Irina Uribe.
