Win a unique signed Sweden shirt

We have been loving the Women’s World Cup so far. The tournament has really illustrated the power of sport to do positive things and make a deep, lasting change in people’s life.

You only need to read the story of Argentina and their amazing transformation - from struggling to play games because of underfunding, to taking a point off powerhouses Japan.

Argentina's team have been inspirational

The tournament has been a great advert for how far the women’s game has come but also shows there are still areas for the game to grow, improve and reach even more people.

One organisation using sport to impact on people’s lives is The One Goal who raise money from inside the women’s game and then give that money to charities who are using sport to improve the world. They were founded by Sweden’s superstar goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl and photographer Daniela Porcelli.

Hedvig Lindahl is one of the founders

One of the ways they raise money is by auctioning off unique merchandise related to women’s football. Right now you can bid on signed boots from players like Switzerland international Ramona Bachmann or NWSL Winner Shea Groom on their website which you can find here: The One Goal

They also have match worn shorts, shirts and training kit from other top players.

To celebrate the wonderful start to the World Cup and the amazing work The One Goal do, we have teamed up with them for a fantastic giveaway.

You could win Sweden goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl’s shirt signed by the whole team! It is a wonderful item which would look amazing framed and up on someone’s wall.
